The spirit matures for ten full years in first-fill and second-fill ex-bourbon American white oak casks nestled in coastal dunnage warehouses where sea salt and ocean mists permeate the porous wood staves. The ex-bourbon wood infuses the intensely peated spirit with rich vanillin, coconut, and lemon meringue nuances over a decade of maturation.

Bottled at a generous 46% alcohol by volume (92 proof) and presented completely non-chill filtered, Ardbeg 10 preserves all of its natural essential oils, fatty acids, and aromatic congeners.
