Cincoro Extra Añejo is aged for an extensive forty to forty-four months in hand-selected American white oak barrels that previously held American whiskey—far exceeding the three-year legal requirement for extra añejo. This prolonged maturation takes place in temperature-controlled underground cellars, allowing the spirit to extract profound wood sugars, vanillin, and dark chocolate congeners without becoming overly tannic.
